Safeguard Engineering are thrilled to welcome Chris Parker as the newest member to the team!

Chris joins us a Safety Consultant and brings with him a wealth of valuable experience following his 14 year career in the Royal Navy. During his service Chris spent 7 years as an Aircraft Engineer, specialising in all marks of Lynx Helicopters, and formed part of the RN/Augusta Westland team to commission the Wildcat Helicopter into the Fleet Air Arm. He also spent 18 months working on HMS Queen Elizabeth helping with commission and bringing into service alongside Rosyth and 7 years as a Weapons Engineer Submariner (Strategic Weapons Systems), working onboard V class submarines as part of the UK’s Nuclear Deterrent.

Chris left the Navy as a Petty Officer to spend more time with his family. His hobbies include football, being an extremely keen (average) golfer and spending time with his friends and family.

Welcome to the Safeguard family Chris!
