Our reputation for quality work has enabled us to grow significantly, from the original two founding Directors, to a team of 50+ highly experienced safety engineers and environmentalists who share in the Directors’ vision and goals.
Our company is home to highly qualified engineers and consultants from diverse disciplines, including safety, marine, aviation, weapons and explosives, air traffic management, and environmental sciences. Many of our team members are Chartered Engineers or Associates of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). We leverage this extensive expertise with a multi-disciplinary approach, integrating the best practices and lessons across different sectors to deliver a truly comprehensive service to our clients. We take immense pride in nurturing our team’s professional growth through our organic mentoring program, guiding them toward membership in their respective professional bodies and fostering ongoing development.
Many of our staff have joined us following distinguished careers in the Armed Forces or Civil Service. Their extensive experience from both operational and peacetime theatres, supporting military activities in engineering and assurance roles, affords us a profound understanding and deep appreciation of our end customer and their desire to protect UK interests at home and abroad.

The Safeguard Engineering head office is located in the vibrant city of Bristol, strategically positioned to allow our team to readily support our clients in DE&S Abbeywood and throughout the Southwest region.
Additionally, our offices in Cardiff, Falmouth, Plymouth, Portsmouth and Liverpool allow us to deliver specialist marine engineering, safety and environmental support to our clients in these strategically important dockyard locations.

Every year we support two charities, chosen by our team, to provide our support and fundraise for. And for every pound that’s raised by our team, Safeguard Engineering match up to £5000.
Our current company charities are Scotty’s Little Soldiers, supporting bereaved military children and Tom Harrison House, who support veterans and serving military personnel. Both of these vital organisations support the front-line service personnel that our work seeks to protect.
Additionally, we take pride in our local community involvement and currently sponsor the match kit for Falmouth United’s Under 9s team. Coached by our very own Safeguard Helidecks Operations Manager, this initiative demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots endeavours within our community.
