Safeguard Engineering to present at Warship 2025
Safeguard Engineering is delighted to announce that we will be presenting at Warship 2025: The Future Fleet – Smart Technology, Sustainability and Autonomy in Glasgow on the 16th and 17th June 2025.
Building on the success of last year’s event, this year’s conference will explore the critical challenges and emerging opportunities in the field, with a focus on cutting-edge technology, autonomy and sustainable solutions. Bringing together global leaders, defence specialists and technology innovators, the event will provide a platform to examine the evolving landscape of warship fleets.
Alex Barker, Paul Hogan and Ian Groom will be presenting their paper titled ‘A Risk Aggregation Approach to Support Risk Assessment for Future Crewed and Uncrewed Vessels’.
Their paper will define risk aggregation, discuss risk aggregation methods available across different sectors and explore the feasibility of these methods to support risk assessment activity for the crewed and uncrewed vessels of the future through practical application. As a result, their paper will propose a framework for risk aggregation for both crewed and uncrewed vessels in order to present an overall risk picture and support risk-informed decision making.
