We are delighted to be welcoming a highly experienced ex-Royal Navy engineer and an ex-Royal Navy Aviation Officer to the Safeguard Engineering and Safeguard Helideck Certification teams.

Jaime Howard has served in the Royal Navy for 25 Years as an Aircraft Engineering Technician, with the last five years spent in QEC Aviation Delegated Acceptance Authority and DES Warship Approval Authority. During this period he was managing acceptance of QE and PWLS Aviation systems against their respective air system and conducting trials under the build of ACA. He then went on to represent the Platform Authority during F35/Rotary Wing trials for the development of the class aviation operating capability. Jaime joins us as a Senior Safety Engineer and will be supporting the maritime and ship/air integration areas of the business.

Chris Lemon has had 24 years of operational management experience within the Royal Navy, including time spent as a Maritime Aviation Certification Officer for the Military Aviation Authority (MAA) and a Flight Deck Officer on HMS OCEAN, responsible for the safe conduct of all operations and aircraft on the flight deck, ensuring the safe and expeditious movement of aircraft to meet ship and squadron requirements. These and many other skills will be put to good use in the coming weeks and months as the Helidecks teamwork to deliver the required Assessments and Certifications for our Superyacht clients. Chris joins us as a Senior Aviation Consultant and Lead Helideck Certification Officer. We will be keeping him busy as he supports both the Helideck Certification and the Ship/Air Integration areas of the business.
