Our expertise

We have offices and facilities in Falmouth, Plymouth, Portsmouth and Liverpool, meaning Safeguard Engineering is well-placed to provide specialist support across these strategically important dockyard locations. This enables us to offer an agile, cost-effective service while reducing our carbon footprint.

Our work ranges from Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats to 40,000-tonne fleet tankers:

  • For smaller boats, our work ranges from providing an on-site presence for the entire build process through to overseeing planned survey and maintenance work or emergent defect repairs.
  • For the larger vessels, our upkeep work package support includes activities to support the Integrated Test, Evaluation and Assessment Plan and the scheduled hand-back of compartments, systems & equipment from the contractor to the client.
  • On completion of any given work package, the Overseers witness Harbour and Sea Acceptance Trials for propulsion and auxiliary equipment and provide recommendations to clients as to whether pre-determined performance standards have been met.

Contact our expert team today for more information on our Maritime Overseer Support capabilities and how Safeguard Engineering can help you.

Safeguard Engineering was tasked to produce our Equipment Safety Case Report and completed this tasking to a very high professional standard and within a timely manner.

Highly recommended to complete any tasks requested within the Aviation industry and many more projects from the Safeguard Engineering team upon request.
