Each sector has its own unique regulations, highlighting the importance of proactive and sufficient Safety Management. Within the UK, these regulations stem from the Health and Safety at Work Act, which sets requirements based upon the generic approaches identified in such guidance documents as Reducing Risk Protecting People (R2P2) and Managing for Health & Safety (HSG 65). Safeguard Engineering’s safety support is delivered by a broad and highly skilled pool of safety practitioners with over 25 years of experience in cross-industry capabilities, including a mixture of members, from those with distinguished military careers to fresh graduates who bring new ideas and perspectives.

Our work in the safety sector is often parallel with environmental support due to the strong cohesion between the two, and we are frequently requested to undertake safety and environmental work concurrently. This results in the development of such artefacts as Safety and Environmental Systems and Plans, etc. In addition, certain aspects, such as Inventory of Hazardous Materials, whilst typically managed under an environmental framework, have equal importance to safety management.
