Safeguard Engineering have supported myself throughout all of the team’s explosive safety support (RFA and H&P), conducting work above and beyond what is expected by contract to assist. Further, even when workloads have increased significantly we have never been refused or delayed deliverables, demonstrating brilliant flexibility to accommodate our changing demands.
Our clients receive expert support from consultants who have served in the Royal Navy and bring specialist maritime knowledge and experience in applying current MOD and Civilian Regulations and Standards. Their extensive knowledge and experience in assessing the design of both Naval and Commercial Ships, their equipment and their systems against relevant military and civil regulations, design standards and requirements enables us to provide our clients with comprehensive Engineering and Technical Input to the development of Whole Ship Design at all phases of the CADMID cycle.
All Safeguard Engineering staff have, or are working towards, professional accreditation within their field of expertise. Most members hold accredited status within their chosen engineering institutions, including the Royal Institute of Naval Architects (RINA), Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), and Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). They are required to maintain their competency in accordance with the institution’s rules and regulations, supported by several individuals with in-service operational experience.
