Safeguard Engineering is proud to have an active Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme through which we support two great charities each financial year.

In 2023/24 we raised over £5,000 for our nominated charities and this year we hope to do even better.

Our chosen charities both do incredible work within the armed forces community and we will be working hard to fundraise for them through company and individual fundraisers and events.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers

Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting bereaved military children and young people. Inspired by the experience of Army widow Nikki Scott, the charity honours husband Corporal Lee Scott’s memory – both as a loyal soldier and a loving father – and provides a practical yet personal way for the public at large to show their appreciation for those brave individuals who make the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country.

Tom Harrison House

Tom Harrison House provides a specialist addiction recovery programme for UK Armed Forces veterans and emergency services personnel. They have a bespoke 12-week residential programme designed specifically for those who have served and who may struggle to engage with mainstream, civilian rehabilitation services.  Their individualised, trauma-informed approach addresses the unique needs of ex-service personnel and is the first of its kind in the UK.
