How Can We Help?

Design

Superyacht designs are constantly evolving with many owners now specifying a requirement for multiple helidecks.

We regularly work with some of the world’s most prestigious shipyards and owner’s representatives at the initial design stage, offering consultancy on deck loading, air flow disruption and helideck location. Our expertise ensures a seamless process in obtaining the necessary helideck certifications for the completed yacht.

Operation

We prioritize responsiveness to our clients, traveling wherever needed to conduct helideck assessments. Respecting client privacy, we routinely operate under Non-Disclosure Agreements.

During a Helicopter Landing Area Inspection, we thoroughly check the following criteria:

  • General Arrangements: helideck dimensions, landing area markings, structural considerations
  • Helicopter Landing Area Tie Down Points
  • Helideck Friction Test
  • Perimeter Safety Net
  • Access and Egress Points
  • Firefighting and emergency equipment and procedures
  • Fire Detection and Extinguishing Arrangements
  • Visual Aids
  • Operational Data: reporting and recording
  • Staff HLO/HDA Training Documentation
