At Safeguard Engineering Limited we are proud of the work we do to support our armed forces. To show our continued commitment we have now signed the Armed Forces Covenant. This is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly. It is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those individuals should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.
One aspect of this pledge relates to starting a new career and helping ex-forces personnel to find employment after they leave their commission. We recognise that reservists and veterans bring a variety of transferable skills and qualities to the civilian workplace, developed throughout their military careers. At Safeguard Engineering Ltd we actively recruit individuals who have left the forces and we now have 10 highly skilled ex-forces personnel on our team working on a range of air, sea and land based projects. We also have a further three due to start with us later this year.
This is an ongoing commitment by the Directors who respect the skills and experience that time in the forces brings and they want to help talented individuals to make the transition into a civilian career.
If you are making the move from the military and are looking for new employment in an engineering consultancy role then please take a look at our Careers page or send us your CV to: admin@safeguardengineering.co.uk
