Safeguard Engineering welcomes Tony Pasquale

The Safeguard Engineering team expanded further last week as we welcomed Tony Pasquale to the company.

Tony joins us as a highly experienced Senior Consultant and leader in system safety management, with over 29 years in the British Army specialising in both Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFV) and specialist Counter-Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (C-CBRN). 

With a distinguished career in the Ministry of Defence, Tony has consistently delivered across a wide range of roles—both in the UK and on overseas deployments—ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and military capability. His expertise has been shaped through key appointments, which include time served at the Armoured Trials Development Unit and as a Staff Officer in Army HQ. 

Prior to joining Safeguard Engineering, Tony further strengthened his consultancy credentials with AtkinsRéalis as a Senior Land Safety Consultant, working as a Technical Safety Lead on several key projects. Tony brings a strategic and proactive approach to defence safety, underpinned by real-world operational experience.

Away from the desk, Tony is a devoted family man and house husband who enjoys long dog walks and relaxing with rugby, football, or UFC as his key interests.
