July has been busy and we are pleased to be adding two new faces to the team. We are welcoming Hal Magill and Hayden Wilkinson. Both are ex Royal Navy and will bring additional skills and capability to the business as we continue to grow.

Hal joins us after 30 years of service with the Royal Navy. Most recently Hal worked as Chief Engineer/ Head of Engineering Department on HMS Diamond; Engineering Staff Officer for Royal Marine Support Ships in Navy Command HQ; and Chief Engineer/ Head of Engineering Department on HMS Echo. Hal will initially be supporting our work with UK Docks, and the T45 Power Improvement Project (PIP).

Hayden joins us after 6 years with the Royal Navy, working as an Aircraft Engineering Technician (AET), within the Fleet Air Arm (FAA) branch of the Royal Navy, working on AW101 Merlin Mk2 aircraft. Hayden will also support the UK Docks work and will work alongside our Safeguard Helideck Certification team.

Steve Beech, Director commented: “It’s great to have Hal and Hayden joining the business. They will enable us to expand our service further giving our clients the expert advice and analysis that they require.  We are always looking for new talent to add to the team, so if you are wanting to join a busy progressive company, please get in touch with us at: admin@safeguardengineering.co.uk, or take a look at our Current Positions page.”
