How Can We Help?

Hazard management

As experts in hazard identification and assessment activity, we can utilise any available hazard log management software or bespoke software to create and manage hazard logs for maritime platforms at all stages of the project lifecycle.

Our expertise in safety and environmental hazard and risk management means we can effectively apply any hazard identification or risk assessment method (including SWIFT, HAZOP, FTA, ETA) using the appropriate model (including Bow-Tie and STPA) to ensure your projects’ safety and environmental risks are captured and managed.

Regulation awareness

We draw upon our unparalleled understanding of the regulatory domain and foresight into future progressions to ensure your maritime designs, systems and platforms are developed to meet current and evolving requirements.

We have a track record of developing legislation compliance reports and assessments at every stage of the project lifecycle, including retrospective activities for in-service and disposal stage projects. We can effectively navigate and interpret UK and EU legislation, as well as maritime-specific legislation, regulations and standards. Our team of experts can efficiently guide projects through the ever-evolving regulatory landscape and be a trusted advisor in interpreting the requirements.

Standards and requirements

We leverage our extensive experience in supporting acquisition design and in-service modification programmes to ensure adherence to the highest standards and associated requirements throughout all stages of the project life cycle. This includes conducting assurance and audit services around the world.

In addition to identifying requirements and facilitating the generation of necessary evidence, our expertise extends to deriving specifications for novel or developmental designs, and we employ techniques such as Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) to identify required integrity levels. Our team members possess a comprehensive understanding of design documentation – including drawings, schematics and specifications. This ensures seamless collaboration with your team, serving as the indispensable experts you can trust in your design programmes.
